** UPDATE: THIS OFFER HAS NOW EXPIRED. YOU CAN STILL GET THE CARD, THOUGH! **
Breaking News: During the month of March, our partner American Express has launched a new, limited time increased bonus of 35,000 Starpoints on both the Starwood Preferred Guest® Personal Card and the Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Card from American Express.
This is the highest bonus the cards have ever offered.

We’re very excited about this bonus because as travelers ourselves, we’ve found SPG points to be a very valuable currency. Here are three ways you can use SPG points to see the world without breaking the bank:
1. Get Free Hotel Nights
Starpoints can be redeemed for free hotel night at Starwood properties around the world including Sheratons, W Hotels, Le Meridiens, St. Regis, Luxury Collection properties, and more. Additionally, you can use SPG points for deeply discounted rates at the same hotels using Starwood’s Cash and Points redemptions. With 35,000 Starpoints, you’ll be able to stay 1-2 nights in a fancy hotel, or up to 8 nights in one of the Starwood’s lower category properties.
2. Get Free Flights
While this is a “hotel” card by brand name, Starpoints can have a whole lot of value towards earning free plane tickets as well. The Starwood Preferred Guest Program allows you to transfer your SPG points to more than 30 airline partners! If you aren’t interested in free hotel nights, you can easily transfer your SPG points into miles for your favorite airline mileage program.
3. Earn Transfer Bonuses
Another great SPG benefit we love is that for every 20,000 Starpoints you transfer to a partner, you’ll receive a 5,000 point transfer bonus! So 20,000 SPG points essentially equals 25,000 miles on your favorite airline. Nice, right?
We’ll share more soon about SPG transfers work, including examples of how we’ve been able to use Starpoints to stay at luxury hotels, fly around the world for free, and get tickets to a-list events.
For now, check out the details to apply for the Personal Card or the Business Card.
